Hello Show Choir Families--
Our show choir invitational, Great River, is quickly approaching. For those of you who are new to choir, this is our biggest fund raiser of the year! It takes place on Friday, Feb. 17 (middle school event) and Saturday, Feb. 18 (high school event) at the Adler Theater/River Center in downtown Davenport. In order to keep our show choir fees at a manageable level, we take the money we make at our invitational and put it straight back into the show choir budget.&nb sp; If we didn't put on our invitational, show choir fees would be AT LEAST twice as much as they are at this time.
SO, we ask that all families volunteer 8 hours (per student involved) to make this awesome event happen since all of our vocal music families benefit from this huge fundraising effort. We can promise you that regardless of what job you do, you will have a great time being a part of what has quickly become one of the most popular show choir competitions in the Midwest. Each family will also receive one free wristband for working your eight hours so you can see some of the performances!
Please sign up for your volunteer shifts ASAP by contacting Lynn Smith directly at 563-424-0022 or bookie66@juno.com
Thanks!
