Welcome to our website!
It's been a while since our last director's update, so I wanted to make sure we let all our friends, families, and students know about what has been going on and what is coming up for our singers. All three directors are very excited and proud to announce the following students who were accepted to two different state-wide honor choirs. These students will perform as part of mass choirs at the Iowa Music Educators Association Convention on the campus of Iowa State University this week.

We are also very excited to get rolling with our show choir season! Our show choir band, Pit Nation has begun rehearsals and they are going very well. The number of players is up to 29 this year! Both CSI and Blue Vibes continue to rehearse each week with energy, drive, and commitment to their shows. We look forward to seeing all our friends and families out supporting these wonderful and talented students at one of our local performances throughout January, February, and March.
Our Holiday Caroling group has been rehearsing and will "head out on the road" starting in December. These students are all juniors and seniors who have worked hard to learn not just melodies but also harmony parts for all your favorite Christmas Carols. They will be performing for various events and organizations throughout the Quad Cities come December.
Finally, our next Choir Concert will be in the Central PAC for all to enjoy on January 19th at 7:00 PM. We always love this concert because we get the opportunity to share the stage with future Blue Devil musicians! Sudlow's 8th Grade Choir, under the direction of Tonya Lindskog and Mr. Keller will perform two pieces of their own and join together with ALL Central Choir students to sing an arrangement of "How Can I Keep From Singing".
